What the hell were you thinking getting a Z ???? Are you out of your freakin mind!!!! Z has lots of problems. Feathering Tires, Loud rattling in tranny, 2nd or 3rd gear grind, Engine consuming too much oil, and more .

JUST KIDDING!!! Congrats. Hope you enjoy your Z.

Congrats on your purchase and don't lose sleep over the feathering issue. I like to lose sleep over looking @ my car every 30 minutes. She's almost 1 month old and I still act like a fatboy in front of a chocolate cake with it.

Welcome to the forums man, congrats on the Z. I was going to be an a$shat and tell you to search, but since I'm in such a good mood, tire feathering is premature wearing of the inside of your front tires, and you should run around 14s stock.

Wow, people must be in a very good mood today. It must be the change in the weather, with the sun shining it is Z weather and I guess not much can change the mood.

Just please don't ask which is better TT or SC.

Welcome to the family.

I wouldn't worry about any issues with the 05.

I try to help by letting them know that not all of us have this problem not to mention all the disinformation. I mean look at the guys response right here:

tire feathering is premature wearing of the inside of your front tires

Haha, premature wearing of the inside of your front tires is just that. It is not "feathering". Premature wearing of the inside of your front tires will happen to any car running negative camber and softer tires. If you are not willing to accept this, sell the car now.
