Question Question about HAWK brake pads

I have a question about the Hawk Pads, when you slide the new brake pads in, the HAWK pads comes with only 2 of those clip things instead of 4 clips, I dont know how are the exact terms to describe this.

In other words the Stock brake pads are attached to a little metal things (like clips) but the Hawk Pads only 2 of them come with those have clips. (2 brake pads out of 4 have those metal things) Does this matter? If I dont have those metal things in the new Pads?

Sorry I dont know how to explain it. HELP!

I think you are talking about the "squealers". When your pad get worn down, the "clip" will make contact with the rotor and emit a loud squeal to let you know its time to change pads. I just sold a set of HP+ pads and noticed exactly what you described. Keep a close eye on wear and you will be fine.
