In all seriousness, the Z should be able to hit 60 in 2nd gear no problem, at least in the 6-speed. My Prelude does up to 62 mph in 2nd so it shouldn't be an issue in the Z.

Wrong. 32ft/s (or 9.8 m/s) is the force of gravity. So it would be the acceleration rate of any object you drop. The maximum speed is dependant on distance, from the point at which it was dropped and where it stops falling, and any wind resistance. It would be correct to say that he won't accelerate any faster than 32ft/s^2.

heres a serious note:

just try to work on ur launches by practicing how to engage the gears best on liftoff, and pretty much shift at redline as quick as possible. with a 6mt, i guess it juss takes practice for what the car can do, cuz if ur not that great of a driver, u might be pulling around the 6 second range for 0-60. it takes the driver and the car together to pull good runs. basically, it takes practice to get good timing on the 0-60. And the Z cant quite reach 60 on second gear, it can reach onli around 57-58ish at the end of second gear fyi. good luck.

+1, i was going to point out it is 9.8m/s^2, but thats only the acceleration...So you CAN go faster than 9.8m/s
