Hey guys, I have been trolling around here for awhile but I finally got my Z. I picked up an '03 Liquid Silver Touring Model w/ 26k miles. The dealer was asking 28999 and got him down to 23700. I was pretty happy with the deal. So far so good, I love the way this car drives- it is a world of difference when compared to my RSX-S. So anywho, just wanted to say hello. I'll post pics later today.

 

congrats man, i know exactly how you feel, i just got my 05 base last night - i got out of a 5th gen prelude - world of difference in the drive right? congrats on the purchase man!

 

Congrats. I'm going from a Prelude to a Z as well and judging from the test drive, it will be a totally different animal.

BTW, don't tell your RSX friends what you said. They'll beat you up.

Well, still haven't had a chance to get pics, but you've all seen enought Z's to know what it looks like. After almost a week, I really really love this thing. I have been slinging the *** of this car around corners like an idiot everytime I drive it... I think new tires will have to be my first mod at this rate.

So I'm ordering a Popcharger today, then hopefully exhaust next month, just not sure which one I am going to get. I'll keep y'all informed.

I used to think my MR2 Spyder was fast he he I love my car! The only thing I miss is the top down so thats why I'm cosidering a roadster grand touring but I hate the look with the top up.

The Z is another beast compared to the Prelude.... Even i had the basics i/h/e modficiations on the Prelude, and it still doesn't compare

 

Congrats on the Z, I just got mine today too. I had been looking for a 6mt, but when I saw this touring model with nav, side impact and aero pkg, I had to go for it. It had just under 11,000 miles, no feathering. This is an extra car for me, and my wife would drive it too, so the automatic was kind of a compomise. I got mine $5,100 under retail and about $1,500 under wholesale/private party. I'm wondering if there's a glut of 350Zs running around or if a lot of wanna be 350Z owners are scared of the feathering issue.
