So...

I've been on the boards for a while and it seems like there has been very little information on the Nav system. I've seen one post that says its very cool, but not much else.

Some of you out there have been in the car, and maybe even played with it and I'm wondering what to expect. Is it going to be the same one in the Pathfinder... is it going to be integrated heavily with the car?

I guess I'm just starved for info like everyone else and I'd love to see a good report on the Nav.

Supposedly it's the same as on the Infiniti Q45. I've also heard it's the same as the G35 Nav. I don't know which one is correct or if the G35 and Q45 have the same system. Go check it out at your local Infiniti dealer and report back. I tried their web site but it did not have much information about the Nav. system.

 

Q45 & G35 Navi systems are different. It looks like the Z's will be like the G35's.

 

go look in the tech or mod section. There was a pretty good discussion about this.

 

It's the exact system from the Q45. I don't know if the G35 and Q45 differ, but the Z and the Q45 is the same. This was from the engineer.

 

Very hard to find anything like a manual for the q45 navi system..

but I did find a detailed description of the Qx4 Navigation system on google.groups.

It looks like Xanavi makes all of the navigation systems for Nissan and you can find out a tiny bit from their site. According to the screenshots on the Xanavi site, it looks like the Qx4 and Q45 systems are exactly the same. If so, the google.group thread is a good review of what the Z might have.
