Default i want a 7200 rpm red line!!!!

the normal 6600 is just to constricting. what would i have to do to safly acheave this 7200 number.

TS can raise the rev limiter, but I wonder why you would want to do this. The motor is already falling on its face after about 6100. I almost never approach the rev limiter at 6600. Going higher will simply increase the time between shifts, but given the direction of the HP and TQ at 6600, I'm not sure you would want to continue even higher.

well what would i have to do to keep the hp levels up. cams? internals?

to increase rev's
you can get new cams, and then lighten drivetrain as well as maybe balance the crank. not too familiar w/ the vq as of yet.

you might want to look into stronger rods, rod bolts and stronger valve springs before you go reving the stock engine to 7200rpm all the time...


and yeah, just get some bolt ons - headers, plenum, cams etc to raise your high end power
