we have both a 3.0i Z4 and a 350z. THe z4 is MUCH classier and much more luxurious than the 350z. Sorry guys, face the facts. It is a more expensive car and you can really tell. The 350z feels very cheap compared to the Z4. HOWEVER, I personally like the 350z as a weekend car and the z4 as a daily driver. The 350z feels much more sporty and I like to throw it around on the streets a lot more. The z4 is a much classier and nice car to go on a date in or take a cruise in. I wouldnt trade either of these cars, both have their perks, but if I had to pick one I would stay with my Z. But mostly becasue the aftermarket is there and I have 8 grand in mods sunk into it. And that is the ONLY reason
my .02... hope this helps you. figured i would actually post something worthwhile instead of jumping the bandwagon and insulting any car that isnt a 350z. Some of you need to open your minds up a little.

I had the same dilema... Z4 or 350Z. After one test drive in the 350Z, I bought it. Nothing else like it. I've had mine over 2 years. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. No tire feathering, no electronic issues, no mechanical failures, no interior issues. NOTHING. It's been PERFECT. Best car I have ever owned - period.
The only problem that I have is... I just can't leave it alone. I've spent over $15K in upgrades in less than two years! That is maybe the best thing about the car; there are now so many aftermarket parts available, it's staggering. When I first went looking for aftermarket wheels, there was almost nothing. Now, there are dozens if not hundreds of options. More intakes and exhausts than I can keep up with. If you really are a fanatic, there are now carbon fiber parts for almost every body piece.
If you don't plan to modify the car at all, and just want something to cruise the blvd. with the top down to pick up chicks, maybe you want the Z4. But for ANY other reason (and maybe even that one too!) there is no choice but the 350Z.

I forgot to mention about the z4 impala like cockpit. Some people might like the 1960 style, then they should buy it. To me, I prefer the Z style cockpit. If nissan put a better material, it would be perfect.
