350Z = Cop Magnet...
I've seen four 350Z's pulled over on the side of the road in about 2 weeks.... is this a bad trend? or are the cops pulling them over to check out the car?? are we all bad drivers where we don't know when to punch the car and when to slow down??
just two days ago, saw a CS model making a quick right turn on Reston Town Center and gunning it down the road... (i think the speed limit is 30).... and she (yes SHE) must have gone about 65 or so... and this isn't a road where one should speed.... altough it is a nice and straight road...
any foolish stories??

Well, if the owners are doing twice the posted limit, they're liable to get pulled over. lol
It doesn't sound like a case of getting pulled over for an iffy 10 over the limit. Its not like anyone is getting picked on if they get pulled over for going 65 in a 30 or whatever...

I haven't seen another Z on the road yet since mine arrived 9/22 or so. If you've seen 4 pulled over there must be a heap o' Z's where you live.

unfortunately, i've only seen 2 or 3 different 350z's in NOVA area... others, I saw them on HWY 95 near Philly and NJ TurnPike...
it is still kinda hard to spot one around NOVA...

In the 2 months that I've had mine, the only Z I have seen on the road is the CS demo that my dealer has. I drive by there daily on my way too and from work.

Don't know if this counts. I didn't get pulled over, but followed all the way to delaware state border, by a state trooper. This was back when i first got my car on 9/18.

I work right in Reston... but haven't seen any other Zs local.
I did see a sunset running down the Greenway on the way home the other night though.

Interesting. I work and live right next to the Reston Town Center and I think I've only seen one other Z since I've gotten mine. I'm sure the Z will be a common sight on the NoVa roads in no time!
No trouble with the cops..... yet!
ZLadi.... What's this I hear about you tearing up my local roads? I try my hardest to not speed around the RTC, especially since the Reston Police station is right next to it! Takes a ton of willpower though, that is for sure!

yeah.. greenway is the only place where you won't get pulled over even if your doing 75~80... and nice road too...

I live near Reston Town Center...I saw a CS Z on Fairfax County Parkway once, and I saw an awesome Brickyard Z as I exited my parking garage here at work in Arlington (it was right across the street from Pentagon City mall). Those are the only 2 Z's I've seen on the road.
PS - yeah my commute is a *****, but I'm hoping the Z will make it a little more interesting

i can't believe how the RTC has turned into a crap-hole...
when i was in hs... it was a nice place to hang..

To completely take this thread from it's original topic...
I can remember when there was no RTC. I grew up here, went to school here, and have remained here even after everything. Although it never bothered me when I was in school, I'm really starting to get annoyed by the group of kids that simply "hang out" here.
Maybe I'm just getting older, but I agree with wise_1 completely.

Well if the 350z turns out to be a cop magnet in my area, then all the little piggies better get their pens ready cause I will be da, da, DAMMED if I am putting a front license plate on. NEW JERSEY SUCKS!!!

I'd show up at RTC, but I don't know if I'd park her out on the main strip, where you sometimes see the silly stuff. Too many of them high schoolers like to mess with sh*t.
I have seen one redline (rt. 7), one super black (leaving Browns Fairfax as I was on my way to pick mine up), and a susent lemans stuck in 495 traffic. Other than that, it's been Zless (I don't count when I go out - I can't see me really).
I've just about had it up to here with rubberneckers swerving near my car.
