it takes patience...just hold your ground or price for this matter. Don't budge because it's only $200 more than what you expected to pay. Set a budget limit and stick with it.

Hehe, that sounds sort of like my experience 2.5 years ago with cancelled pre-orders and early allocations. Some dealers said the price was MSRP (which was the best anyone could do back then) but added aftermarket wheels as ugly as humanly possible, ripoff paint treatments, etc. and charged an extra 3-8k. I had to go 40 miles to get my own pre-order for MSRP, which is still a rip.

I think i've hit the target price I need w/ one of the dealers. It seems most are willing to deal, but a few hundred over invoice. But I should be picking up the yellow enthusiast this weekend, wish me luck! About 31,000 max otd for a ultra yellow. It does cost a bit more than the regular ones cuz of the color. I do get all the small add-ons.

espacially in the bay area there is no way you will get it below invoice...you will be VERY luck if you even get invoice, although i highly doubt you'll get that here... i had to look in southern Cali for good deals. it is definitly possible to get invoice there...cuz that wat i was offered
btw, if you try hold out to see if you will be able to get invoice price from a bay area dealer, you will not be driving a Z anytime soon, IMO

$27,664 for a yellow Z w/o tax and title. Otd would be around 30,400. But I'll give in if they can hit 30200 since it's yellow lol.

Got my Performance for $1000 under MSRP. This was an awesome deal considering I got it in 2003 & there were very few dealerships that had Z's in stock.
