Default Isnt this deal a little too good?

I have been emailing an internet sales manager back and forth about a black base Z I want to get next weekend. Their website was updated today with a used 2004 Z Touring Silverstone with orange leather MT. The car has 27,000 miles on it and the price on the website is $26,850. This seems to be a very good deal, but it makes me wonder why it is priced so low. What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance!

I'm planning on purchasing an 05 Enthusiast for $27k with Employee Friends and Family discount, so I dunno...I know theres a difference between touring and Enthsiast, but still.

Just to give something to compare to. My 04.5 touring w/auto I bought 5-weeks ago had only 6,600 miles on it and was advertised at $27,200 w/aero, mud guards, sill plates, and few other cheaper oe options. It is also certified by Nissan so it has the 100,000 miles warranty and roadside assist.

Thanks for the information everyone. i was just a little concerned with the mileage. At 27,000 miles, I should check to see if the front tires have been replaced to determine whether or not this one has a problem with the feathering.

That's the exact car and color combo I bought 2 months ago. But mine had only 9K miles and was advertised (and I happily paid it) for $26K.

With that many miles, I'd be looking to pay quite a bit less.

27,000 miles on a 2004 is a lot. I guess it has the navi in it huh?

Qbrozen, that was a good deal. I wonder if I can get it for around 24,000 OTD. Time to email the internet sales manager......

Being an 04 with that many miles it's likely an early production 04. So definitely be on the lookout for signs of feathering. Before I bought mine, I test drove an early 04 with only 8,000 miles on it and it roared like crazy when stoping(feathering). The one I ended up buying was built MAY 2004 and had no signs of feathering.

i went to the dealer to see what i would get on a trade in for my 04" touring with 11k. They said $23k. I think that price they set was about right.

Your getting mighty close to the price of an 05 Enthusiast.............which would be a MUCH better buy.

I bought my 05 entheausiast with a few add ons (options) for invoice. You can do the same in Alabama if you email me for the salesman.

But maybe he/she WANTS a Touring. Maybe he/she is 6'5" and NEEDS a Touring because he/she won't fit in an Enthusiast. Just a thought.

Why would a Touring be any better than an Enthusiast for a tall guy?

From what I understand, the seat adjustments are different, are they not? I know there was another topic about this a while ago, but I thought the resolution was that the Touring comes with the 2 tilting ***** and the power fore/aft adjustment, but no other model has all that. I know we never got an answer as to whether the power fore/aft made a difference (it usually results in greater seat travel in a sedan, but didn't know if it made any difference in this car since the rear wall is as far as you can go with the power seat), but the 2 tilt adjustments are an absolute necessity for me. I think someone even had a pic of their Touring model with only one tilt ****, so it apparently isn't even in all Touring models. Very strange.
