Simple test.

Pick your test curve.

Take it as fast as you feel comfortable with.

Repeat the experiment adding 5mph each time.

On the pass that you hit something or roll on, deduct 5mph from the corner speed.

Bingo! Easy.

I get the odd feeling that this guys next posting will be "I messed up my car "

No offense but play it safe and practise in a road course with lots of clear space, or even a large parking lot without poles

Just tried a left turn at 60. I'm run'n Michelin Pilots 245 front and 275 rear.

It was an abrupt 90 degree (yank the wheel hard) left turn.

The 350Z slid (tires lost traction) straight for about 10 feet before slowing down and eventually biting.

Be sure you have penty of room before trying this.

(I think I might have frightened some people nearby. LOL.)

Depends on a lot of factors, but I had to take a 90 degree turn with a 200 foot radius at about 100, on stock 17s, and the tires didn't break loose. (Still looking for that guy in the 02 ML 55 AMG, CA plates 02ML55, reward offered)

it takes quite a bit to roll a vehicle. If the track surface is nice and flat, you can easily do 100+mph.. More than most people have ***** to even dream about.

It's nearly impossible to roll a sports car unless you manage to hit something with more traction while you're sliding at sufficient speed.

Example: sliding on asphalt into grass, passanger side tires hit the grass first, get grip, and if you're going fast enough, you'll flip.

On the same surface (like a large parking lot) it's very difficult to flip a car. Then again, I'm not saying it's impossible.

Default Rolling

Well if you have VDC like i do... then its gotta be pretty hard to roll you 350z. my friend is a mechanic for Ford. just the other day he was telling me how the test to see if the VDC is working in a expedition. i think he said they have to take the car up to like 60mph and the jerk the wheel to the left as hard as they can. and if the car rolls then they know it doesnt work. now mind you that the car it how high off the ground? so you tell me how fast you need to go to roll a 350z. idk maybe somewhere around 120mph lol

Z is pretty squat to the ground, it would be hard to roll on a flat turn, unless you hit something...like one of those bushes in the Dukes of Hazard that have a ramp hidden inside the bush. Then you would fly through the air or possibly drive on 2 wheels, or even flip.
I was taking a one lane 30 mph exit ramp at 75 one time and my whole Z slid over about 4 feet. front and rear tires. That was scary. Don't push it unless at a track or empty lot.

i cant friggin beleive this thread is still going. im ashamed and dissapointed. You are all grounded. And for the originater of this post, the more stickers you have the faster you will turn, period! And remember make sure the stickers are for suspension companies or else youll go fast straight but not turning.
