Default Warning to those waiting for a west coast delivery in January.

I don't believe they have worked out the port worker strike. The cool down period ends in late december (after Christmas). If there is no resolution, the strike resumes. Expect delays!

the government still hasnt stepped in citing interstate commerce or something? Im suprised theyd let a strike like this continue. Im aware they are working now, but I figured they would have ended it for good, I didnt know they were just on a cool down period.

Default News from this morning...

Local Portland news reports that this morning Sunday, Nov 24th, a tentative agreement was reached. Dock workers to vote on it after the Thanksgiving Holiday. The news report indicated the Dock Workers were offered substantial imporvements in wages and benefits. Hopefully that means they'll ratify the new contract.
