Im going to get a Z this friday but i stil havent decided on MT or AT... i know the z is a pure sports car and its only right to get a MT but im so torn... can you guys tell me which one i should get? or what i should bas my decision on? thanks!

 

On what you want. Drive both and then the answer should become rather apparent. You won't know until you do the test drives.

 

Drive both, you will know the answer based on that driving test. In addition, read the thread "read this before modding your 350Z" at the top of the forums. I wrote it for new Z owners. Enjoy....

I think you should get a manual.

I randomly selected, because no one cares. Drive both, as everyone has said.
I have an AT and I love it, but hell I loved the MT too

I would go with manual but its all up to you. I think its a waste to get a an AT kinda kills it.

 

MT all the way.. you feel your car more when its a stick... congrats on your upcoming purchase man.

although sometimes i do regret getting manual when i am driving up the hills of san fran cisco.. its pretty nuts..

 

ive decided to get the Black on Black Enthusiast AT i drove both and they are both impressive in their own way. but i think i should go with the AT. thanks for your input guys even if you didnt care...

Sports cars should ONLY come in manual. Nothing screams "I have a vagina" like driving an automatic sports car.

I didnt have a choice on AT or MT... i wish i did.. cause i really wanted a 6MT... But o well i guess ill take my 5AT

Not another MT vs AT thread.... There have been tons of these. Do what several guys said already... Go with what you feel you're comfortable with. After all, you're going to be driving your Z, not us.
