Default 350z Daily Driver...............?

Hey all i have 1994 Firebird Formula and i use it as a daily driver. I was wondering how much different the Z will be. Also i will be useing it in the snow. If you guys can gimmie some feedback... It will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. - Driving my Formula in the snow is not really a problem ( Auto). Do u think the 6 speed Z will be much different? Thanks In Advance

No problems here, but I don't drive it in the snow.

So far it has been a very reliable daily driver.

I've driven many cars in the snow and the Z doesn't like it . . . unless you get some blizzak snow tires (makes a big difference).

With good snow tires it shouldn't be a prob, just be VERY careful. I've had 2WD pick up trucks, a 2000 firebird and a lexus GS400. All RWD vehicles so the Z isn't much of a difference. The worst was the GS400 on the snow, it was absolutely awful, even with VDC. I doubt it can be worse, but we'll see!

Haven't driven mine in the snow, but it's a great daily driver. I drive through school zones every morning and still manage to average about 22 mpg.

The Z is a great daily driver due to the good torque and powerband. Rides smooth on the highway as well... cant comment on snow but you will definitely need a set of snow tires.

Mine will not see the salt or snow of winter. It will be driventhe other 2/3 of the year or so.

I would get a Z with the TCS and VDC if you are going to drive it in winter though.

Agreed... I daily drive with about 5 months of winter. I run Blizzak WS50s and it works great. TCS and VDC will keep ya straight... don't even think about trying snow with the stock tires.

Do a search... there's LOTS of threads on this topic.

I love driving this badboy in the snow, especialy the drifting part, hehe. Going from a rear wheel drive 240sx turbo to the non turbo 350z was like day and night for me.

What he said...except I went with Blizzak LM-22's. With the proper snow tires and prudent driving, you'll be just fine when the snow hits.

Tis my daily driver and although sometimes I wish I had backseats, I have no other regrets.

It's a sports car. If you want to fully enjoy the ride, go with the MT.
