I just bought my new Z 2 weeks ago and needed to do something to set it apart. I live in a small military town that happens to have 3 black Z's (mine is the 3rd) running around and needed a quick mod so that random people will stop waving at me thinking i'm someone else. Using some military grade all weather black weather striping that's used on bomb's droped from 52's, i've constructed some eye lids and would like some opinions from some of you who've seen it all and knows what looks good and what doesn't. Any and all opinions will be very helpfull. Not too sure how to post the pics directly on this, so i'm using an attachment and hope it works. Sorry, i'm new

LMAO....best boardname I've seen yet
Don't really care for the eyelids....looks too fat at the top IMO.
You could always add the $10 door guards to your grille to stand out more. I think those look nice on SB Zs.

We use lots of other colors for various situations of droping bombs. I suppose, if someone wanted a set, i could make them? might be a bit expensive tho? I paid $50 for 3 square feet of it! oh well... i guess it's relitively cheap considering other mods one might find to change the look of your Z? And besides, If you guys like, then it was well worth it! If anyone would be interested in a set, let me know.

Keep in mind i can change the shape too. The fact that mine are fat, and you might want a set, doesn't mean you have to have them like mine. I could change it or even ship you the stuff i use to make them and you can make your own? But thanks for all the complements. Guess i'll be keeping them on for a while then.

yes, i thought about using the hood/fender seam, but i couldn't get them to look as angry. And since it doesn't mess with the beam path as much as it may appear, i made them wider and left just a small gap for the blinker. Very easy for others to see me as well me seeing others. My girlfriend says it makes my Z look pissed off and agressive.
