Too late....It's already in repair. I been in this situation before, I have rebuilt salvage vehicles in that past for profit and yes its not exactly the same, but it comes pretty damn close when you have a good shop.

I am making sure the frame rails are being replaced and the body points are being straighten which is the most important thing!

I will post pics of the car once it is all done.

But why the heck would you even want a vehicle like that in the first place?

I purchased the car back from the insurance company dirt cheap after they had paid me off. I owed about $4,000 on my Z at the time of the accident and just paid off the loan and had roughly $18,000 left.

With body/frame/car purchase the car will end up with a total cost of $10k-$12k. I know the shops work and it's good work.

It would be stupid of me to pass this up.

Even if I never end up keeping it (wont happen), I could easly make $2k-3k if not more profit by resale. You would hesitate on bying it because you have seen the crash, but once its all done you and many people would jump at the chance to buy a $10k Z with all new parts and a new PPG paint job! All see far into the future that people may not see.

Thats why!!!!

So...the insurance company paid you the full amount...and it's only costing you maybe 12k total now. Which means you have what...like 10k to spare? I'd definitly replace anything broken with aftermarket stuff.

Ya are you putting on stock parts? Like body stock? I would put an aftermarket body kit.. and whatever else was messed up? Suspension? Wheels? Put a TT on that bad boy . And for that rear hatch.. id make it carbon fiber.

Damn... Hell Of A Roll... I Cant Imagine That Car Ever Riding The Same Again No Matter How Much Repairs Done. Seems Like The Rapair Would Cost More Than A New One.
