I have had the side of my car repainted 5 times and it's till not right from a couple minor dents. I am noe thinking I would ahve rather lived with the dents rather than the miss-matcked color. The silver is the hardest color to match. i jsut got the car back yesterday for the 5th time and the door is a totally different color than the rocker. The body shop is going to spray the rocker monday and everything should be satisfactory then. Just a word of advice the plastic will never match 100% with the steel of the door or whatever.

530 ? its expensive man
Not for a new bumper painted and installed it isn't. I assume that the old one wasn't fixable for a similar price. Sometimes the labor to fix deep scratches, etc. is more than the cost of a new body piece....sometimes it isn't.

right. the stock bumper had a few deep scratches and cracks in it. the cost to fix it, repaint and labor would of been around 500. for an extra $30 they ordered me a whole new bumper, painted it and installed it. so now i have a winter bumper and a summer bumper. i think it was worth it overall especially with how rough michigan winters can be on the front bumper.
