Default megan test pipes and white steam like smoke!

put on some megan racing (yes the cheap ones) test pipes. Few days ok..no CEL but not I have a white smoke coming from the pipes...not continuous.....kinda like when it heats up-ish. I know that some resonators have to burn off the coating or w/e material in them...any ideas?
not losing oil, doesnt smell like maple syrup (aka head gasket ok) suit in tailpipe not oilly more chalky......

help??

I would think that this is normal for a new exhaust....when I installed mine, some of the lube was burning off and causing this. If it continues I would get concerned, but I think as they get broken in it should go away.

man, i was just going to post the same thing..i just got my MR test pipes installed on my Gcoupe, this past weekend and just today i noticed that after a while of driving and it being hot, when I get on the gas, I get this moment of white smoke, just a little...I think it has something to do with having no cats and the gas just evaporates down the exhaust path...who knows..just wanted to make sure others got this too..im taking them off this weekend, TO DAMN raspy for me, but you are right...the GAINS are definitely there..

Is it normal to have the white smoke about 1.5 weeks and driven over 500 miles since?
