I really like the Lemans sunste, and the dealership has a touringmodel i can pick up at the end of Dec. but I'mtaking alot of heat for the color. What is everyones opinion??

Take a look at the pix I shot today of my Sunset and tell me why you are taking heat over this color. They are in the thread above called "There's gold in them thar hills" In the end, you will have to be able to select the color that flicks your Bic, not what others are whining about to you. Do you want attention? There's no better way, nor a better color to stand out in a crowd, than this funky orange. It absolutely rocks in person, pics rarely do it justice.

If you're not out for attention, then select another color.

 

Even though I'm leaning toward the Daytona Blue, I like the Sunset color a lot. If you like it go for it and dont worry too much about what other people say.

 

Who cares what other people think. This is YOUR car and you should get the color you like best. If LeMans Sunset is your top choice, get it and don't look back!

 

Never mind what others say! YOU know what you like and your first instinct is usally the right one.

I initially liked the LeMans Sunset color. But then others said "too loud", "too orange" and worst of all "you're too old for such a color, get silver"! Geez...I'm only 45!

I heard that almost 60% of 350s being built are either silverstone of chrome silver. I went with my instinct and like....LeMANS!

Go for it. You won't regret it!

i was undecided for 4 weeks before i placed the order
it was either daytona blue , lemans or redline
i saw that the redline in some pictures looked like a dark red (although pictures dont do it justice beutifull color) i decided between blue and lemans i piked blue but i couldve gone either way its really just taste all i wanted was a car not seen on the street on avg so silver and silverstone got the ax and black and white lotsa of silver cars down here in miami.

 

Le Mans looks good, it's different from anything out there

 

I just happened to see a LeMans today when I picked mine up and I think it is a great color yet I think I would get sick of it after a short while. Glad I got Blue yet the LeMans was a close second.

 

Hehe, I say get orange. I wimped out, but I'm not sorry I got silverstone.

 

Ther's a reason why most people picked CS.

It looks the best to them.

 

i finally saw the car in person and it is so AWESOME. i almost thought pressing the no button just because i'd be jealous if you did get it. it's really, really nice. my personal favorite.

LeMans is my favorite color so of course, I'm going to recommend it. Its very exotic...

 

Get the LeMans then have it custom painted with the cascade paint used on the the Tuscan(the RED-ORANGE color) =D

 

How can a person not love this rendering of the Z in Sunset? I must confess that the bright Arizona sunlight gets a lot of the credit for bringing out the best of the Le Mans Sunset tho. It is probably the most dependent of all the colors on bright sunlight to show its best qualities. IOW, she's made for Arizona! Regards, Jim

 

I've seen ever color in person. There is no wrong choice. Only what's right for you.

But, if it's good enough for Mr. K........

 

When I picked-up my Z they had a Lemans Sunset on the lot. I checked it out but did not care for the color after seeing in person. The car was more of and orange color than sunset. Also the burnt orange interior was not impressive in this color scheme. I went with the Super Black it really looks great on this car. All the people at the dealership said the Black is the best looking color. Here is a picture of my super black

 

Get the LaMans sunset and enjoy. There is not a bad color choice when buying a Z.

 

Pick the color that makes ur gut happy!!!! Who cares what others think!!!LOL
