Default My Lady's in the garage...

Nope, not the repair garage...at my home ! I finally got the call yesterday afternoon. I had 2 options, wait until after the holiday or pick it up the same day...you can guess which I picked. I left work early, and drove 3 hours to Philadelphia to pick up my baby. She was ready to go when I got there. I gave my Z a good lookover, and found a scratch on the bumper that the dealer will be paying to fix at the location of my choice, and they are throwing in the aluminum kickplates to cover my inconvenience. Overall, the process was fairly painless...
I elected to pick up the car the same day to avoid some ominous weather on its way in to my area. I wasn't able to avoid this weather (ice and snow) and had to drive 3 hours back in slushy snowy weather...I kept it between 50-60mph, and the Z handled marvelously in the slushy/rain slick roads. There was no snow accumulation on the roads, but it was starting to get slippery by the time I made it home. The Z's handling in crappy roads didn't let me down at all...however, I don't think the Z will be playing in the snow at all...
I will post some pics of my delivery soon...now I just need some good weather so I can play !

Default congrats

congrats. Sorry to hear your first ride had to be in crappy weather. You should probably take it some where and get its belly washed incase there was salt on the roads. I had to drive mine in moderate rain and it handled excellent. But, I wouldn't even think of driving it on snow or ice.

So what color and model did you get?

Default tell me about it...

It kills me to have it sitting in there. We have road salt, cinders, all kinds of crud that is eager to booger up the front end. I have to get the scratch fixed before I can get a 3m clearbra installed, so maybe I will drive here a little and just get the whole bumper painted when I do it.
I waited so long for her, I jsut can't have her hanging out in the garage for the next 4 months...

She will see the road this weekend, and she will see a claybar and ALOT of Zaino !
