Thanks for the info Pooch I will call them and hopefully get my hands on those tires for this winter season. Well take care and enjoy your Z. It's good to know it handles well in the snow

Default base model question

Quick question, I have a base model and I've been worried about snow as well.I've slipped a few times so far but i'ts only been in cold (freezing) weather. My questions is, since I don't have traction control on my car, can the Blizzak's still help me in the snow? I live in Chicago, so this is a big concern for me.

It's been snowing on and off here for two days now and the car really is outstanding with the Blizzaks AND TRACTION CONTROL.

I've played around with it off and there is really no way I would try and go in traffic without it because to car has too much power.

If you try, good luck and drive like a granny.

Question ??? All-season tires

Does anyone know of any all-season tires made in these sizes?
I'm not planning on driving during the winter, but we often get unannounced snowstorms in the spring and fall. I couldn't find any all-seasons on TireRack. Thanks

The first batch of 245s were produced just a few weeks ago. (1st 10 arrived in Canada on 11/22/2002)

Maybe Canada was given priority because of our harsher winters. You should try to contact Bridgestone-Firestone USA directly.
