Here are the facts:
on the '03 coupe: all emblems are glued on EXCEPT for the Nissan "hamburger" emblem, two holes behind that (sux!)
ALL Roadster: NO HOLES! Everything glued!
I can't verify for sure if the newer Z coupes have holes or not...I find it odd they would do that for the roadster and not the coupe...

That's the Japanese for ya'. Always making things harder than they have to be! LOL
Disclaimer: any similarities to actual people or events are totally coincidental.

I have a 2004 touring model and removed my Nissan emblem, there's no holes behind it and it's just glued on. I did it to put on the aftermarket spoiler, I think it looks 100x classier without the hamburger emblem back there

^ so weird, WTF is going on... on a 2004 touring model, there are no holes.... on 2003 models there are holes..no holes on the roadster... now we find out there are holes in the 2005 base. WTF?????

Hmm? Maybe it depends on what model you have (i.e. Base, Enthusiast, Performance, Touring, Track). Although I can't understand why Nissan would do such a thing. Perhaps it depends on where the Z was made (i.e. Japan vs. US).

Okay...let's do this:
If you know for sure there is NO holes, indicate "NO". If there ARE holes, indicate "YES". If we run into any descrepancies, we'll look into seeing if one was built in Japan or in the US.
Holes Behind Rear Nissan Emblem (YES/NO):
2003:

Enthusiast -
Performance -
Touring -

2004:

2005:
