Default Test Drive(long)

I know this topic as been brought up, but I thought I would share. Well, yesterday I finally got a test drive. Some of the dealership around here are not letting people test drive. One place, the manger there was a real a$$hole, I hate dealerships. So I go to another dealership yesterday to ask for a test drive and I start talking to a sales rep.

The sales rep was 83 years and really didn't know much about the car, I was actually was telling him about the car. He starts telling me stories about when he had a brand new 57 Chevy, too funny. So I ask the guy if I can take it out for a spin. He says sure, no problem. (Super Black, Touring, 6speed)

The sales rep tells me too not to go to fast. I knew to the rpm's under 4. So he takes me down this old country road were speed limit was 40. Well I loved the way it accelerate smoothly threw 1st and 3rd, really enjoyed that.

The cluster looked real good at night. The gauges off to the right were a little too far to the right, but still nice. The seats were comfortable; they held you in tight, with good lumbar support. The steering wheel was OK.

I get it on the highway for about 2miles. I step into it a little bit. I could really feel high end HP; I really want to redline it once. But I didn't, do not want to ruin someone's car. I liked the torque in 4th and 5th gear, at about 60-70.

Well I am sold, I am just trying to find somewhere I can store it in the winter. No garage yet, but should have the garage in a couple of months. Just in time for spring when all this snow melts. Already have the money saved up. Maybe I could get a good deal that time of year!
