Z is pretty popular in Japan. I saw quite a few of them on the road.

anyone else notice all pics of the Z's in japan (both on the road and at the dealer) have blacked-out front side markers?

Yeah. That's how it was on all the Z's I saw in japan. They blacked them out. The cliear finishers are offered as an option though.

I'm not liking the sidemarkers too much either. But at least they are clear. But I agree with VQ Racer in that it is very JDM-ish if put on the US model.

sidemarkers are alright to me, with or without. But damn! look at their "fairlady Z" emblem, wow those are nice....now thats really JDM-ish. How come we the US version always gets the number emblems? Weird....
