350z's paint SUCKS. Too many chips!
I owned a 1996 black Mustang GT with a FORD paint job of all things and it was nowhere near as pitted and chipped as my 2003 Z!
I mean looking at some of the chips it looks like there's one thin layer of paint and no clearcoat.
I am thinking it might actually be worth going to a pro body shop and having the entire car repainted with 3 base coats and 3 clear coats. But then I remembered that I do want to start swapping out parts for carbon fiber at some point. Then it won't matter--I guess.
