Good gosh this thing is low geared.

 

I just traded in my 00 Z28 for the Z.

I can always rely on a smart a** remark from this board.


The car is still low geard.

 

The car can supposedly hit 170+ if allowed to(no rev limited and whatever power is necessary).

Yah, some people can be, but that's just about anywhere. =)

 

Yea, I don't necessarily like the car reving at the same much as my 4 cylinder Honda CRV at 65 mph.

Coincidentally a friend of mine is getting his rear transam rear differential replaced (flooding incident)...and he mentioned ..given that the car has so much torque...you can safely change the rear differntial gearing from a 3.5x...to say a 3.2x...
