Tints On A Z!
I put Tints on my car day after I got it. But, what bothers me is that you can see every scratch on the windows. I've had cars wit tints before and never did I see scratches like this all on the edges. Im thinkin cuz of the way our window suck into the doors. anyone else wit this prob?
I tinted my windows and while I used to have the streaking problem it didn't actually scratch the tint itself. I think your problem might have to do with the quality of the tint and not your windows themselves.

You get what you pay for (and sometimes not). There is no way that if it's a quality tint job that that should happen. I've actually never even seen this problem on professionally done tint. either the material used was total crap or you're exceptionally hard on it. I've had my tint on nearly 2 years & even with the window grease problem & removal of the glass I still have not 1 scratch in the tint.

I have llumar tint and am having the same problem. It's not that llumar is cheap tint it's that my windows are screwed up. Open the door and press the little thing that causes the window to nudge up. If yours is like mine, you will notice that the top front corner of the glass barely moves up, if at all. Incedently, this is where my tint is being damaged. I have small chips in the tint at the very top front of the glass.
I did have the greese streaks fixed and think that they may have srewed it up then...

The guy that did mine placed a clamp on the door latch to keep the window in the full up position and ran the tint below the rubber. llumar is a very good product from what I've seen. also, most tint shops warranty their work. Mine has a lifetime warranty in fact.
Take it back to them & see what they say.
