New headlights!
Okay got a question for those smart ones out there. The Z has the D2R HID 4300k rating bulbs, right? Well I wanted to get the S2000 or Audi HID 6000k rating bulbs. Any idea where I can buy brighter bulbs for the Z? If I went to Honda or Audi's dealership and bought the D2R (meant for their specific car), would they fit in the Z? Should I concern myself with wattage? And any other places I can buy these brighter bulbs besides a rip off dealership? Thanks

if you want "brighter" bulbs, you can try a different d2r bulb made by osram or philips. i'm not sure what the oem manufacturer for z bulbs are.
do NOT think that 6000k bulbs are "brighter" than 4300k bulbs. they are not. measure it with a light meter - there is less light coming from those bulbs, it's just bluer - which is good for the ricer crowd, i guess

color temperature scale was determined by heating a tungsten element to very high temperatures. the color the element gave off at 4300 degrees kelvin is "warmer" or less blue then what it gives off at 6000 kelvin.
The hotter the the temperature the more blue the light.
A candle burns at about 1000K. Standard incandescant lighting in your house is about 2600 kelvin. Those huge lights used on a movie set are 5300K. The sun at high noon and cleart sky can get up to 8000K
