Default 350Z or G35

I owned a 350Z previously and read somewhere that more G35's are sold than 350Z's. I am trying to decide between the two and am wondering if there are more performance mods available for one or the other or if all mods available are equal. I seem to notice more 350Z's on the road in my area but this could be because they have a more stand out appearance look to me.

well. From what i can remember from the numbers. G35sedan sells more than the 350Z. G35coupe sells less.

So in reality theres tons moer G35s on the road. But most of them are the sedans.

Well, G35s are more practical that 350Zs. And two-seater sport cars are not for most people, so it would make sense that cars that accommodate more capacity would sell much better

I hate to say this but if I could do it all over again, I`d seriously consider the G over the Z

G35 : 4 seater
Z : 2 seater
G35 : 280 HP
Z : 287 HP
G35 : less head room
Z : more head room
G35 : more expensive
Z : cheaper
G35 : more "luxurious"
Z : less luxurious

Question Z or G

I had the same decision to make. I went with the Z. Price isn't too much diff. Dependin on model. One is a sports car, the other is a luxury car. Thats the diff. If you want performance. Go with the Z. Either way they are both great lookin cars. FYI I've raced G's in my Z. Pulled on them all day.

For quality of production I cannot see the G or the Z being better than the other. I think the numbers for build quality are probably biased by the types of persons buying the Z/G.

It's more a matter of what you want Z / G coupe / G sedan. Look at what you want and what your needs are, then buy according to that. All of the cars are good performance for the buck choices.......hard to go wrong.

BTW down here G coupes far outsell G sedans and Z's. Don't ask me why, that's just the way it is.

Drive them back to back, only way to tell. I've had both. The Gcoupe is huge compared to the Z.

I am new here. I had the same question and test drove both. Both great cars. What are your needs. G35 (base model) was nice, but was a lux. car. Could not feel the road. The Z on the other hand left a smile on my face. Needs? This was our second car and we do not have any kids. The Nissan Max. has enough room for things when needed. (once a week). If you want a sports car get a Z. Simple!!!

you cant even compare a g35 sedan to the z...thats comparing apples to oranges.one is a sports car the other is sedan. now the g35c to the 350z is a different story, luxury=more money. sporty =less craftsmanship....if you have the money go with the g coupe , if you dont buy the z....hell they are almost the same car. its like comparing the altima se to the altima se-r.

Yeah, that's fairly standard of the luxury divisions... Infiniti, Lexus, Acura, et al.

My g/f took in her RSX for service and got an MDX for the day

Thanx for all the replies guys. What about the second part of the thread? Are all mods equally available for both?
