Satellite tracking
Anyone know how to use those nifty satellites up in space to zoom in on Nissan of Japan's port area? Maybe do a lil' peekin here and a lil' peekin there?

The Navi system works by GPS. 24 satellites orbiting the Earth continuously transmit their position. A receiver can triangulate it's own position based on the signals from the satellite above.
Thus, the average GPS system is only a receiver. Obviously, GPS when used in military applications uses other technology so that the receiver can be tracked also. This isn't available on your average handheld or car GPS navigational system.
So, the short of it....no, you can't be tracked.
