First of all, i had something happen to me just like this recently, got hit by some jackass that took off, unfortunately the guy got away. The funny thing is i actually ran into the guy on the freeway one night and chased him for about 45 minutes driving anywhere from 90-120mph (it was a ford ranger so he was maxing it out lol). I got the plate numbers and the cops said they couldnt do anything about it...****in weirdos.

Second yes evo's smoke us in 1/4s and probably anything from under 45 mph roll. Although my best friend has '05 Evo VIII (not RS or MR) with intake, HKS BOV, and buscher racing full catback/downpipe and we raced from about a 65-70 roll on the free way and i beat him, his nose was about right even with my tail when we finished.

Third, Mavtais (10 posts), you dont know what the fuc|< you're talking about man. I just went to an evo dyno meet at gruppe-s in the bay area saturday and stock evo's were put down 230-240hp/240-250tq all day. You're retarded, why would you say that they only put down 200 if you dont even know.

for me, all evos are modified...it's a purposed built lancer..all bell's n whistles..

Oh, and BTW, EVO's only get 202.3 hp to the wheel. It's been tested over and over. Z's get about 240. So, yeah, you should never have a problem pulling on an EVO if you're rolling.

TRANSLATION:

As I was driving on the Triboro Bridge coming back from the SEMA show, I saw this white EVO next to me. He was trying to play with me (in a non-sexual way), and he was passing gas over and over, so then i started passing gas and this gave me a burst and made my car take off. So the guy pulled right behind me, I started pulling on him a little, not too much, since the tolls were coming up, so I applied the brakes since the cars in front of me were doing the same thing. The EVO then tried to cut to my left side and manages to hit me!!! So I get back in front of him and pulled him over. So right there in the middle of the highway we were stopped, the EVO guy sees us get out of the car and decides to rip a good one which launches him out of there, so we decide to rip as well (there was a lot of ripping going on). I have never seen an EVO take off so fast. Since the EVO was trying to escape, they tried to run the toll but the police officer stopped them, LOL. That's how i finally got the guy, and now he has to pay 5-6 bills. The asswipe was trying to show off in front of his girlfriend, pfft. Just so you guys know that a stock EVO is not going to beat me, did you hear me?
