Default Nav on a base z and Lo-jack Questions

hey guys whats up just enjoying my z big time

anyways i got 2 questions for ya maybe somebody could aswer.

what do you guys think about lo-jack? pros and cons?

and what would be needed to put a nav system on a base z no dvd movie playback really needed but if it does, its a bonus.
is there a reason why the base and enth z's can have the nav factory installed?
well anyways guys thanks for your time

p.s im talking about a nav sys on that empty z cubicle not one of those move around nav systems

Lo-Jack is a good product, but I would assume that the cars already have a good security system. They do have an immobilizer built in so you can't jerry-rig the car to run. Maybe they can by-pass that somehow. I would imagine Lo-Jack would be pretty good if you got carjacked.

You should do a search on the navigation system. A couple other members have already made/used their own system, but I don't remember what system it was. It did fit in that spot though. =)

That's crazy! Yah, maybe the Lo-Jack would be a good thing to get!!

Why not get a DVD player for the car and a 7" LCD screen to fit in the cubby.. or whatever size screen will fit. You can find those screens relatively cheap now-a-days.

Lojack is Ok I guess, never needed to use it what it was designed for. One thing I hated was if say you wash and car or whatever and if you open the door without disarming the thing the dam alarms go off. Did that a 100 times. It can be temporarily shut off.
