I always find myself going AT LEAST 10-15 mph over the speed limit. The car just seems to be going slower than it really is. I feel like my speedometer is off...It just hit me a week or so ago. LOL

Or drive an SUV...that'll make the Z feel like a Ferrari.

Default TT only makes it worse

I had the same feeling and did get the Greddy TT and that started to feel slow off the line, from a rolling start it still felt good and on the track it is great. However, I travel alot and drive alot of rentals when I get back to my own car it always feel new and better. If you really feel that way about your car go test drive some stuff at the dealership and when you get back in your car it will feel good.

Wonder if an S/C will be better then without the turbo lag.

I thought about that and went for a ride in a freinds Z with a Stillen SC and it did offer a little more on the low end. It was very nice, but I really think it is a just a case of getting used to what you drive and losing perspective.

Anyone feel like me?
I bought a Z06 Corvette last year. After 7000 miles it doesn't seem that fast either. It will happen with every car. The trick is you need to change perspective from time to time. Get a beater. I have a 97 Malibu that I drive in the winter and on rainy days. If I drive that for a week my wife's G35 feels like a Ferrari Enzo.

yeah i feel ya bro.
When i test drove my TT - i was in awe. Now 3 months later, i sometimes feel that the car is slow...until i drive my z. I row through the gears, the engine is screaming sounds great, but i'm not going anywhere.

Then i get back in the TT and feel like i'm witnessing an act of god.

Yeah, so get an old beater to keep a reference point.

BTW, i sold my Z 2 weeks ago. I am officially z-less. Great car, best enjoyed sideways!

When I took my Z to racing school and walked all over the other cars (short of the 2005 Viper), my car started feeling pretty quick again.

Believe it or not I get in my 89 porsche 911 and it feels slow compared to the Z. Granted it is mostly just a cruising car but that's how I make the Z feel fast again

i would agree that the dragon cured me of any my car feels slow blues.

the corners made the car feel 100 times more faster then the straight line ever could. hell after the dragon the thought of a turbo almost sounded stupid. it wouldn't spool fast enough and you are always down shifting on those corners you would always have to be heel towing to get the turbo spooling correctly.

heck i think even the SC guys wheren't going as fast as they should have.

i do think that a good set of sways, camber correction, wider rubber in the rear, and good brakes makes a huge difference.
