OK, see what happens when I get a four day weekend? I need to get back to work soon - I'm losing my f$#%ing mind!
I finally found a Hot Wheels 350z at the local Toys R Us after months of checking while I was doing some holiday shopping tonight. I plan to display it with my others so I opened the package to check it out.
What a car! This thing has a V8 and a true dual exhaust. And a driveshaft that is easily twice as long as the real one.
One thing's for sure, Hot Wheels are getting crappier. Plastic chassis, can't see the interior, can't see the engine, wheels hardly rotate. I was four when the first Hot Wheels hit the shelves. They were awesome. They actually cost less now than they did then. I say bump them up to $2.50/ea. and do them right.
Anyway, I figure the Hot Wheels 350 is good for close to 400 HP at the wheels. Fit and finish and quality of materials is a bit off, but for 86 cents, I won't complain. It has absolutely NO orange peel.

I thought it looked a little rough going over the bumps.
