Well, I got the amp replaced on Friday by my dealer. They were very good to deal with and even gave me a crappy Sentra as a loaner car, which they didn't have to do. The radio definately sounds better, but I'm not sure it sounds as good as it should though. One nice surprise is that the volume on the nav system is now lower like it should be and the music continues to come out of the rear speakers while the nav system is talking to you.

I too replaced my Bose amp. I highly recommend spending some time adjusting bass/treb/fade. My settings are currently 3/4/front+2, but it's always up to the individual. It seems to have decent sound and more power when adjusted in the + range. Good luck. -m

As has been posted previously, with the new amp, there is virtually zero bass being driven out the speakers behind the seats; the sub appears to be handling ALL the rear bass, which is not good. Since the new amp is still driving bass out the two front speakers (large ones), adjust the fade to the front, as MacGuru has done. It helps, but it still doesn't sound as good as it should.
I wonder if Nissan will provide another amp to return bass to the two rear speakers....
