In stock form... they are nothing special(detuned for durability and economy... the Toyota trademark). But beware.... the IS300's 2JZ-GE engine block is the same that was used in the last generation non-turbo A-Spec Supras. The engine is nearly bulletproof and has almost limitless tuning capabilities. As Zexy said.... if you throw some aftermarket intercooled turbos into that engine, you can be pushing an easy 400+ HP to the wheels with almost no other engine work(stock internals). Do some work to the internals and change out the top end with some big turbo's and people are hitting 600+ WHP.

Awesome vid! That IS300 really needs some fat tires in the rear, damnn. That bov sounds like a turkey....lol But nice car though.

A good friend of mine has a stock IS300 with upgraded coilover suspension, and it isn't that fast. From a stop, it was a bit faster in 1st gear (more grip from his 10-inch rear), then it starts to fall back in 2nd, then half a block after 3rd > 4th Lol. But that car handles pretty well though.
