I just found out you need to use an LSD from a 6mt for this mod to work. Is this true? I just bought the gears, but no one ever mentioned about the lsd. I only have the stock LSD on my 5at 350z. Need help on this situation.

Yes there are differences that require some additional parts. The housing is the same though so a stock 6MT VLSD or any of the replacement 6MT LSDs would work with the 3.5 gears. That is why I have always recommended buying a complete 6MT rear pumpkin that has the stock VLSD and the 3.5 FD because it ends up being much easier to install and no shop charges if you do it yourself. The trouble is finding one. I think your best option is to talk to Performance Nissan about getting the parts you need to make the 3.5FD work with your current setup as they normally sell the 3.5FD and the necessary parts as a package deal, then have someone install it.

 

I talked to Tony and he told me I need a vlsd or nismo lsd...I guess that is the only route
