Is it possible to chip the Z for any substantial HP gains ?

You certainly can chip the Z. Just drive it 10 feet and check the nose. It will have a thousand chips on it.

Hahaha , I'm serious about this !

Me and my friend were arguing about this , and I was on the side saying that you can't chip the Z for a substantial HP gain ... So I wanted to get it clarified

technosquare does it too. But I believe it was stated before that unless you go FI, you won't see "substantial" gains from a re-flash. It's nice to get rid of the max speed limiter and raise the rpm to 7100rpms tho.

Don't forget, you can Overclock the ECU to 5.37 GHz with 1098.2 MHz FSB and 12GB of RAM. But you may require liquid cooling to do this. I heard of people installing Linux on the ECU too!
