How does this compare to the Viper alarm?
Do you park on the street overnight?

I am not a pro at this (alot of the features are the same) .. I know i got it for 3 times cheaper then the VIPER top of the line one. I love it tho!! I park it at skool and on the streets alot.

Yep, you have to become a "Premier Member" if you currently want to change your Avatar. If you scroll to the top of the page, you'll see a big "Become a Premier Member" link. There is a fee if you want to become a "Premier Member". They are working on having Avatars for "Non-Premier Members" as well but I heard you will not be able to use a custom one. Instead, you will have to select from a pre-defined listing of Avatars to use. Some "Non-Premier Members" may have Avatars but that's only because they had it prior to this change. So if they try to change it, they will lose it.

Ok...more info on this alarm. What features does it have, where did you get it, and how much? I'm looking to get an alarm. Nothing too extreme but something better than stock.

Thanks! When are you going to install yours? I may get the one with remote start. Can yours pop the rear hatch? I always use that feature. And can it put windows up and/or down?

Yea but I'm still gonna get one. There is literally zero crime in my area so all I really want it for is remote start, window roll up, and the paging if someone hits me.

Is it safe to install the starter module on a 6MT? The last I heard, the only alarm that is safe to install on a MT is the Compustar.

I've heard enough stories of people accidentaly launching their car into walls or SUVs.

If it has that wire it's safe to do. You just hook the wire to your transmission and it won't start unless it's in neutral.
