Default Questions about 350z and basic car knowledge

Hi everyone, first post here.

Ive recently earned a few extra bucks and am looking to get a 350z, which one i have no idea yet but i want one with the navigation system thing.

I went to www.nissanusa.com and had the hardest freking time trying to see what kind of differences there are between the base, enthusiast, track, performance and whatever other 500 models they have of the 350z.

So could anyone clarify what is the best or what is the worst? or something lol.

Anyway...i live in Socal and growing up here has never really made me wanto drive a manual transmission car b/c the traffic here is just horrible.

My question is, is learning how to drive manual hard? Whats the best way to learn?

I dont want to buy a 350z and not know how to drive it off the lot

one more question...

id really like to get into modding my 350z but i really have no knowledge to cars and how they work or anything.

I sure as hell dont wanto pay some douche bag 100 some odd dollars to install something that would take him 5 minutes.

So where or how would i learn to mod my car?

thanks for replies

The Board gets a gazillion requests wanting to know the model differences. Follow the link cupcar gives above.

The Enthusiast is the best buy in terms of bang for buck.

Best bet for learning to drive a manual tranny is to find a friend with one who will let you learn. Its not all that difficult; I taught my son to drive an mt on my Z. By the way you can get an auto transmission.

Unless you are mechanically inclined, I would not even think of making your own mods. Moden cars are sooooooooo complicated with ECUs & electronic systems it is easy to screw the goose. Find a good mechanic & pay the freight.
