Default Will This Void My Warrenty?

I have a 2004 Performance Z and i've taken in before to have the bears fixed. Now th same problem has came back (noise in the rear end when you use the gas) all the way up to about 40, So I need to take it in. Also my 2ed gear is having some troubles so I need to get that fixed to.

Now the problem, I have test pipes on my Z and i'm wondering if they won't work on it because of these? Will they mark it that I have upgrades and I won't be able to use the warrenty again?

What should I do? Or should I just go in with them on? Let me know, I've been putting this off but I need to go in.

Thanks.

Test pipes will not cause the problems you are having so they can't deny your warranty. The mods you have must be proven to cause the problem before they can they void it.

Test pipes are "illegal" to drive on the road so my question being... If I have them on and they see them will they say they will not work on it until they're off? The closest GOOD Nissan dealership is 30 minutes away so I need to know if they will deny my service with them on.

they have to cover the warranty work on your transmission and and drive train because a testpipe will not affect. if you have engine problems they might void that, but not transmission. they can only void warranty on parts that they can prove are affected by your mods.

thats awsome thanks, so basically I'm safe because its rear end noise (most likely bears) and my 2ed gear, not anything to do with engine, plus if I really needed to test pipes are a easy switch.
