Default Aftermarket Dead Pedals

Hey there, I ust bought a 2004 Touring Roadster and my carpet is too short - whenever I shift the carpet pulls and the dead pedal pops up.

Two questions:

1. Should I have the dealership replace the carpet - groan

2. Does anyone know of a compatible Dead Pedal that screws into place!

It's IMO, held on in a really cheap way. I had the same problem. I just took a pair of pilers and crushed the plastic "on the pedal where the threaded bolt "from the car" goes into it. then put the pedal back and push down hard so it goes back into place, After doing that I've yet to have any issues with it coming up.

Default thanks

I jury rigged a piece of plasstic underneath it to keep it from going in and out, I was hoping a S2000 dead pedal might work or maybe Sparco has something?

go to iraterides.com if you are looking to save some $$$. they have a bunch of reasonably cheap dead pedals to choose from.
