I agree -- if you want the BOSE sound system and power seats- get the Touring.

Default think again

If your reason to get a touring model is for the boise, I would think again or at least read all the posts of owners that are very unhappy with the stereo. The boise on the Z does not have the sound of the Maxima. Another issue is if a speaker goes out of the boise, you are looking at over $400 to replace. This is one of those cases where aftermarket is truely higher quality than factory. I know Boise has a good name but in this case, it does not seem to be making onwers happy. In otherwords, if you go from a performance model to a touring and pay another $2,000 more, do it for the seats because you might be replacing the stereo anyways as many other touring model owners have already done.

For me, i am going with the E model. I prefer to put my own after market wheels and stereo in it with the money i will save. Everyone has their priorities, that is mine.

I guess I'll have to listen to the BOSE system in the cars.... But I've always kept my Systems Stock in my Nissans(Z32TT, and A33B), and I think i'll be happy with it.. if a speaker blows, i'll replace it w/ another one from Nissan, why.. just to keep the interior STOCK!!! It's the only way :-)

I am certainly disappointed with the bose system, the bass is over powered, the amp replacement might fix that, Ill find out this weekend hopefully.

however, the aftermarket installs Ive seen run like 3-5 grand... just crazy cash, Im sure it can be done for 1500, but I figure like 300 atleast for a good radio, and if you want 6CD you need more, then a few hundred for an amp, more for speakers, then labor... starts getting up there. just something to consider.
