I was wanting to know what the seats are in the track, i know they are cloth but are they electric and if so are they multifunctional.

Also I was wanting to know what is the highest speed anyone has hit in their Z(completely stock) does not matter what kind of Z any 350Z, track, performnance, touring, 03 or 04 or 05 i don't care as long as it is the 287hp Z.

 

I think the Touring is the only one with electric/heated seats, but I may be wrong.

I also think the Z is limited to 156mph.

2003 Track seats are completely manual.

A few of us have had the car up to 159mph (255kmh) and I heard of one guy claiming 160.

 

ok and so as i understand it.. only the track edition has the brembo brakes??

and you say that the seats in the track are manual and cloth.. is there anything else diff about the car??

and im sure it would be possible to find seats out of a Touring Z and put in the track Z ??

 

this is correct speck if you look in the for sale forum i believe i seen a pair of seats that are leather being sold for 850 i believe
and yes only the track has the brembos

I don't believe you can get leather seats in a Track from the factory. But sure, you can swap out the cloth for a leather seat from a Touring if you wanted.

The Track comes with Brembo's, the rear spoiler, and some air diffusers under the car. That's the only difference. So if all you really want are the Brembo's then you can probably get a Touring w/ leather and then get aftermarket brakes for less than a Track model that you'd swap the seats out of.

 

well.. im pretty much gonna have to get a used one, cause i still owe alot on my current car, and im upside down.. (hey it happens) but i just want a Z, i found an 03 track that i like.. that im gonna go look at when i get a chance.. its got like 21k miles on it.. and they are asking 24, im thinking of offering like 20.. they have had the car for a long time and not been able to sell it (not a verry Z freindly area, most the people have pickups and what not.. or suv's- It's in NC lol)

yeah i know i was just stating there are some for sale now so it is possible to switch the seats and u can run the wires and buy the heated buttons and what not i am sure.

I got my track with burnt orange leather seats, but I got it used.

Yep, cloth only on the '03 Track. Manual as well. But the cloth is preferrable for me as it grips yer butt during hard cornering.

And this may seem blasphemy to some but I am continuing to investigate some comments made regarding the '03 Track suspension. Rumor has it that the sway bars, struts and springs are S-Tune parts. Two well-informed Nissan sources state this as fact. Some well-informed members of this forum say all Z suspensions in '03 were the same. Stay tuned...

like i click standard features and it says "all z's come with yap yap yapp"

but like.. the track has an LSD or no?
