Hey there Nissan350z, I encourage you to utilize the search function when possible before asking a question since you can usually answer your own question. However, feel free to post if you cannot find it.

Anyways...

ENTHUSIAST model
Unfortunately, the search function is 100% useless if you cannot (and will not try to) spell correctly. It is already hard enough to use properly if you CAN spell.

I do remember when I was 16 (some 20 odd years ago), and I did know how to spell words correctly and punctuate my sentences properly. Apparently these are not high on the list of "need to know" in high schools these days. All of us would have guessed his age by his writing style (if you can call it that). I would have guessed younger. If his parents are going to front the dime, fine. I just don't want him killing innocent people with that kind of weapon (especially ME). At least you don't live in my state. Look out for this one! RUN! RUN! RUN!

Okay so you will buy used, I see. Your best bet man, is too save your *** off while working at a hobby shop and put about $10-15K down and save up another $3-5K for insurance!

Have you even checked what insurance rates will be per year for you? Most will not even cover you, you have to be under your parents policy and then it will be like $3K a year or more!

+1.

at nine bucks an hour and no other bills i think that you could save enough money for a nice down payment - not a big one since you'll be in school and cant work full time... but over two years you should be able to cubby-hole 8-10 grand realistically... which would be a nice down payment on an euth. or base...

but i agree with the insurance - you wont get coverage on your own - you'll have to go on your parents and they might think twice about you getting a z when they see how much they'll be dishing out a year you cover you... then you will get tickets and get in accidents and then they'll raise the price more on your folks and then eventually drop you, etc. ect. ... just kidding...well kinda... anyways good luck.

I found one but MUCH cheaper. With your salary, you should be able to afford this with one hours worth of work.
