Now...my recommendation. Decide what you are gonna do with your car. Is it a daily driver? Then get an Auto 'cause the 6-speed, while nice (I have one) it ain't the greatest if yer driving to and from work or around with friends.
If the car is gonna see the road now and then, for some country runs or track time, then by all means get the 6-speed.
If you are gonna mod the car to be a street/track car, get the Track model. It's the simplest platform to mod for more power, IMO.

Honestly if you're going to save up "your" money and pay for the Z yourself I wish you the best of luck. Some people here jump to conclusions right off the bat when they read about a 16 year old getting a Z. Perhaps you do need more experience behind the wheel but that's not up to these people to decide.
IMO you should be looking at a Ethusiast model. Good price and has options that are worth the little extra bucks over the base.

you have to admit this thread has gotten a little out of control. there's no reason this kid cant type his posts in microsoft word, spell check it and then post... plus we answered his questions, now he just wants people to help him shop... the search function would cover all of this...
...but it is still a funny thread to come back and read the last couple of pages i've missed since last night...
I will say i admire the tenacity of this teen... if my job was only a $9.00 an hour job i don't think i would be in the same position.
I am also a teen and would like to offer this bit of advice:
Make sure you know what kind of investment you are about to make. Many important financial decisions are about to hit you, the most important being education. I have thought long and hard about what kind of Z i want, and it comes down to the only one i can afford while i pay for college. By all means i wish you luck, but think about the idea of a 30,000 a year college debt and other expenses before you spend any money on a car.
