Just recieved my z from the dealer yesterday and was wondering if there was a local z meet in the houston area.

 

Every month, the Z Club of Hosuton has a meet. The past meeting was at Doernaki's, but that location is not really suited to having a good get-together. The next meeting location will be different, and right now is leaning toward a spot in the Heigths.

By the way TMAC how much did you get your Z for? I am still looking for one. Did you buy new or used?

 

I called those guys about a year and a half ago, The Z Club, but they never called back. Which Donerakis did they meet at? I live down the street from the one on Westheimer.

 

they tried the one at Gulfgate and 45... but the mariachi band was so loud nobody could hear anyone talking.... so they are looking for a new location for the monthly meetings...

The best way to get involved is to show up at the monthly meeting... you don't have to join, just come on out and hang around with Z folks. I don't think there is a phone number for the club... anyway, they have activities all the time and the meeting is every month, so keep an eye on the website for the latest happenings and to find out where the new monthly meeting location will be.

It has been along time since I've checked out their website. When I last looked, they were meeting at some restaurant in the Park Shoppes Downtown.....Thanks for the info. I think I would have skipped on the Donarakis meet. My ex-financee's uncle owns that restaurant. Bad memories.

 

we should meet up at hooters on nasa rd 1 off of 45south, huge parking lot! or just something simple would be nice...who likes counterstrike? we can meet up at teaworks right close to where beltway 8 and 45 south meet...cofee shop is next door also. that'd be sweet..i think the road its on is fuqua or something...my car is going in the shop on monday for a turbo install, so i wanna do one last meet n/a.

 

yeah... the club used to meet downtown at the BBQ place in the Park Shoppes... but it was getting to be a hassle with the lousy parking. Plus, lots of folks been complaining about the location being too far from anything.

So... they tried that Donerakis... without success!

I don't recall the name of the new place they are trying, but it's in the Heights and is a known for hosting other car clubs and motorcycle club events and monthly meetings. something should be up on the website soon about the location. Lots of well-lighted parking, a large room with a PA system, great food... should be cool.

 

Hooters is good. I have to wait on my rim to get out of the shop, though. Had some curb rash. She is getting doctored up. 3 custom rims and 1 factory looks funny. LOL!

 

Just got mine a month ago, would love to hook up with some other z owners in houston.

 

What do you think of this deal in houston. 04 roadster 30.4k, 7k miles, nismo exhaust and CAI.
