24 $83 a month. I can tell you now working previously at an insurance company for 6 years, at age 19.. or any age for that matter, if you have an accident on your record, no matter how minor it's still an accident even if it's not your fault its on your record and you're gonna get surcharged for it... might as well bend over and take it in the rear if you're buying a sports car at age 19 with a minor accident cause you'll be paying at least $200-300 a month on top of your car payment. My word of advice... invest in a nice reliable 1990-1993 honda accord and drive that for a couple of years while you're getting your accident off your record which'll stay with you 3-5 years depending on how long your insurance company counts that accident towards your rate.

Iam insured on a POS 88 chevy truck, which i payed only like $70 a month for... But my mom is insured on the Z, and if i were to be insured on the Z it was around $320? I think something like that... But with my mom being insured, i just pay for her insurance on the Z, and the truck, so iam only payn like $170 a month. Alot better then 320 haha.

In chicago, the cheapest that I found (& paid) for my Z when I got it (at age 21) was $1250 per 6 months, full coverage with clean record ---> Allstate

At 24 (now), I pay ~$750 6 months, full coverage with a 106 in a 65 zone speeding ticket (). It was $100 cheaper before the ticket on my record ---> State Farm

I have to pay around $800 every 6 months for my Z. I'm 18, with the good student discount on State Farm.

It comes to 800 because I am insured on a ford explorer which would normally cost $200, but is now $700 because of me. My dad is insured on my Z for $300ish.

I have to pay whatever it costs my family to have me insured.. so that = $800.

It would be $950 every six months to just have me insured on the Z. My family has had a policy with State Farm forever, and I have 0 tickets.

I'm 24, no accidents or tickets. Pay 140/month for full coverage and a $100 deductible. Through State Farm. I've been with them my whole life though.

$126/mo - State Farm - 23 with 1 ticket recently (insurance agent said it would not raise my rates). Standard coverages, nothing special. Multi line discount.

Something to keep in mind for those who want to have fun and save money. I went down to sears point raceway and did the save drivers course. For those who have never done this you basically get to beat up on their cars all day. They teach you how to do high speed lane changes, how to get out of fish tailing, all this cool stuff. I called my insurance company and got a fatty discount on my insurance since I did this. I highly recommend doing this to anyone....its a win win situation.

Edit: and paying 300/month would just be plain stupid.
Where did you get $188 a month? Are you planning to put $20K down?
