You might also try Esurance.com. That's who I went with. Gave me better rates than everyone else I got quotes from. But you should be able to easily get quotes from any agency you contact. That will be much more productive than asking people around here what they pay.
If getting your own policy turns out to be too much, see if you can have one of your parents insure it with their name as a primary and you as a secondary. If they have a long, positive history with their agency, that should drop the rate a lot. In the meantime, don't get any more points on your record, and when the existing points finally drop off, then consider getting your own plan.

WOW! I just got off the phone with my insurance company. For an 03 Enthusianst model, it is 838.40 for 6 months. That equates to $139 and some change a month! I'm sooo happy right now...the insurance quote was really the determiner if I got the car or not. I'm 19..have 3 tickets(none for speeding) and an accident on my record($300 damage)...I couldn't believe that it was this cheap. Time to start really searching. Who's got a Z near PA for sale?!
