Think it feels bad to lose an antenna? How about getting the rear 350z emblem and half the Nissan hamburger jacked off the back of your car with a few scrapes and a small dent left as a present? Talk about feeling violated!
OMG dude the same thing happend to my car. They jacked the 350Z emblem and tried to take the hanburger as well. This was done 3 months after I take my car to my apt. complex. I was there for like 6 months before I had the Z. My old car was never bothered with (96 Celica GT) but 3 months later my Z got messed with. Not only that they also spilled milk all over my hood. I was soo that the week later I broke my lease, paid 2000$, and moved out to a new apt. with a garage. Now my Z just sits there all locked up while I am in school. I fixed the scrathes but there is still a very small dent there and I cringe everytime I see it. People have no respect for nice cars. Its funny though cuz there 2 other Z's in my old complex as well as a C5 vette, E320, FX35, Supra, and a 330ci. I just didn't get it why my car? But for the guy who got his antenna stolen... that just sux. I heard on this forum someone got his S2K one jacked but the theif was considerate enough to put a stock on back on the car.

back in 3/03 when i first drove my 03 off the nissan dealership, the Honda dealership across the street charged me over $30.00 for a doggone S2000 antenna. Because of all these antenna disappearing stories, i recently had it removed and replaced it with my modified original stock antenna instead. The way to make your stock antenna emulating an S2000 antenna is to shorten the stock antenna by 4 1/2" right in the mid section, after trimming off 4.5 inches, you should now have only the top section (tip of the antenna and the remain of that skinny section and the bottom rubber section with the remaining skinny section). Now go to the hardware store and purchase 4.5 inches of black 3/8 " rubber hose. Connect the top end and the bottom end of your stock antenna with super glue the and your in business. Actually, it don't look too shabby at all IMO.

Damn crooked 4ss 350z owner.

It's one thing to get your mods stolen, it's another to get it reverted back to stock. That's just wrong. "Guess who's back!? OEM!!"

When I went into Honda to get my antenna, I told the guy at the parts desk, "Uh...my S2000 antenna was stolen, I need to pick up a new one"

Clerk, "Sure thing! I got a huge box of em in back because it's become such a common thing now. It's a shame all you guys are getting targeted. I didn't even think there were that many S2000's around here."

Me, "Um....Serial thief? that's it!...thanks....buh bye..."
